Cameron County recognizes CCE HIE as an MU 2 Specialized Registry

The Cameron County Department of Health and Human Services supports the Meaningful Use Stage 2 Specialized Registry Public Health Measure because it provides a mechanism for Eligible Providers (EPs) to meet the Stage 2 Menu Measure 6. This provides EP's the capability to identify and report specific cases to a specialized registry (other than a cancer registry), except where prohibited, and in accordance with applicable law and practice.
